The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby addressed the congregation at the worship led by the Dean of Westminster Rev. Dr John Hall and attended by LWF General Secretary Rev. Dr Martin Junge and PCPCU Secretary Bishop Dr Brian Farrell.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The highlight of this service was given by the affirmation given by the Anglican Communion to the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ). Until now the JDDJ has been signed and received by Lutherans and Catholics in 1999 and at a later stage by the Methodist Church.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the ecumenical dialogue the fact that more church families have a common understanding on the justification by faith in Jesus Christ shows that we have moved forward in our struggle to unity. This step forward shows that indeed the things that unites churches are stronger that those that divide them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cAus Gutem Grund Evangelisch in Rum\u00e4nien\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Evangelische Kirchentag in Kronsdat 29.09 \u2013 1.10.2017 hat eine wichtige Bedeutung nicht nur f\u00fcr die Evangelische Kirche A.B. in Rum\u00e4nien (EKR) sondern ist auch ein Zeichen der \u00d6kumene gewesen. Der Kirchentag wurde von der EKR, Honterusgemeinde aus Kronstadt und die Evangelisch-lutherische Kirche organisiert. Ausser den eigenen evangelischen Mitglieder hat der Kirchentag viele Partnerkirchen aus dem Ausland erreicht. Diese haben durch ihre Teilnahme gezeigt, dass sie sich der kleinen Evangelischen Kirche A.B. in Rum\u00e4nien verbunden wissen und unterst\u00fctzend wirken wollen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Kirchentag in Kronstadt hat versucht einen neuen Akzent zu setzen. Die Ver\u00e4nderung die die Kirche n\u00f6tig hat anzusprechen und den Blick auf das wesentliche zu werfen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ein Ereignis von besonderer \u00f6kumenischen Bedeutung beim Kirchentag, ist die Weltpremiere der Messe von Kronstadt \u201eCredo in Unum Deum\u201cgewesen. Ein musikalisches Kunstwerk, das in den drei siebenb\u00fcrgischen Sprachen: Deutsch, Rum\u00e4nisch und Ungarisch und dazu noch die Sprachen:Englisch und Latein komponiert wurde. Ausser der Vielsprachigkeit wurde das Werk auch interkonfessionell gepr\u00e4gt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das ungarischsprachige \u201eKyrie\u201c stammt von dem Komponisten Zolt\u00e1n Szalay (katholisch), das Sanctus \u201eSf\u00e2nt\u201c wurde von Serban Marcu (orthodox) verfasst. Die letzten drei Teile der Messe wurden von drei evangelischen Komponisten verfasst: \u00a0Steffen Schlandt, der das deutschsprachige \u201eGloria \u2013 Ehre sei Gott\u201c komponiert hat, Heinz Acker, hat das\u201eCredo\u201c in lateinischer Sprache komponiert und Brita Falch-Leutert, \u201eAgnus Dei \u2013 Lamb of God\u201c auf Englisch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Bischof der Evangelischen Kirche A.B. in Rum\u00e4nien Reinhart Guib hat in seiner Begr\u00fc\u00dfung auch die \u00d6kumenische Komponente betont.
